WAGNER Group’s chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has accused Putin and his Kremlin allies of cutting of his communication lines with Russian officials.
Mr Prigozhin suggested that his recent demands for more ammunition from Russian officials have led to Putin’s latest punishment.
In a recent Telegram message, he wrote: “Our ammunition has not improved. But there has indeed been a change.
”In order for me to stop asking for ammunition, I have had all special communication phones in all offices, in all units, switched off.”
Prigozhin’s claim comes after reports suggested that Putin is “nervous” about the mercenary leader’s rise to power.
